Patna News: The murder of a woman in Rajiv Nagar area of Patna created a sensation. Two of her husband’s friends together beat her up. The woman was killed by crushing her head with a stone.
Patna: Shocking news came out from Patna, the capital of Bihar. Here two criminals had a dispute with their friend over money transaction. Both of them beat him badly and left him and went straight to his house. As soon as the young man’s wife opened the door, the miscreants attacked her and brutally murdered the woman by pelting her with bricks and stones. The miscreants broke all the street lights in the street, so that they could escape easily.
The incident here took place on Monday night in Rajiv Nagar area of Patna. The woman was murdered on Road No. 25D at around 8:15 pm. Actually, Meghnath Sah, a resident of Tiswada village of Jandaha area of Samastipur, was living in Rajiv Nagar for the last 6 years. It is said that some time ago he left his job as a painter and entered into illegal liquor business. In this business, he became friends with Prakash alias JP and Lalu alias Mukhiya, residents of Paliganj, who were engaged in the same work while living in a rented house in Indrapuri, Patna. The friendship of four years had grown so much that it had become a common thing for both of them to visit Meghnath’s house.
Woman murdered by hitting her with bricks and stones
The situation suddenly worsened on Monday night. There was a heated argument between the three in the house located in Indrapuri regarding money transactions related to liquor business. The matter escalated so much that Prakash and Lalu beat up Meghnath and threatened him. After the fight, both of them left from there, but their anger did not stop. It is alleged that after not finding Meghnath as the target, both the miscreants went straight to his house in Rajiv Nagar. Meghnath was not at home at that time and his wife Priyanka (25 years) was completely unaware of these controversies. The accused first switched off the street lights of the street, so that they could not be identified. Then Priyanka was called outside the house and brutally attacked with bricks and stones. Seriously injured Priyanka was admitted to IGIMS with the help of local people, where she died during treatment.
Police engaged in investigation
An elderly person living near the incident site said that it was common for people to visit Meghnath’s house late at night and many times the police also used to reach there. The police have sent the body of the deceased for post-mortem. On the basis of Meghnath’s statement, a case of murder has been registered against Prakash alias JP and Lalu alias Mukhiya. Rajiv Nagar police station incharge Sonu Kumar said that continuous raids are being conducted in Patna and Paliganj to arrest the accused.
