Haryana DGP OP Singh is continuously visiting the police stations of the state. Yesterday he inspected the police station in Gurugram and talked to the police personnel as a victim of cyber fraud. GurugramHaryana Director General of Police O,P, Singh conducted a surprise inspection of Cyber Crime East police station in Gurugram on Monday, During this, he himself became a digital arrest victim and made a ground assessment of the police station’s process, victim assistance, response system and awareness system, While talking to the media, DGP said that Haryana Police will adopt concrete, effective and innovative strategies to deal with cyber crimes,
He said that in cases of bank freezing of small amounts, quick financial relief will be given with the help of Lok Adalat and if the bank is found negligent in cyber fraud, then the bank will have to compensate for the loss. Besides, the awareness campaign will be intensified by preparing “Cyber Awareness Ambassadors” in schools and colleges. The DGP appealed to the public to remain alert and lodge complaints on suspicious calls/links immediately on 1930.
