Dhanbad Rail Coach Restaurant: A unique restaurant has opened in Dhanbad which is Rail Coach Restaurant i.e. the pleasure of eating delicious food while sitting in a train compartment. It is fully AC and more than 120 food items are served here.
Dhanbad. A unique initiative in Dhanbad city has attracted people’s attention. Dhanbad’s first rail coach restaurant has been started in the rear part of Purana Bazaar railway station. Which has created a special discussion among the city residents and travelers as soon as it started. The original railway carriage has been converted into a new restaurant with beautiful interiors. This initiative has emerged as a new food spot for travelers, families and youth.
Barauni to Dhanbad Restaurant
This rail coach restaurant has been named Barauni to Dhanbad Rail Coach Restaurant. According to restaurant manager Deenbandhu, this restaurant was constructed about two years ago. The interesting reason behind the name is that its owner’s native place is Barauni. Therefore, it was named keeping in mind the emotional link from Barauni to Dhanbad.

The atmosphere in this restaurant is almost the same as in other AC coaches. So that customers can eat delicious food while having the same experience as traveling in a train. About 40 people can sit together in a railway compartment. Special arrangements have been made here for Indian, Chinese and Tandoori food with full AC facility.

The favorite dishes of customers here include Paneer Kadai, Biryani, Veg Chowmein and Manchurian. The special thing is that along with the taste, the prices have also been kept affordable. Paneer Kadai is available for Rs 250, Biryani for Rs 200, Chow Mein for Rs 150 and Manchurian for Rs 200, in which 8 Veg Manchurian pieces are available. Whereas Tandoori Roti, which is offered in a large size of a pan, is available for only Rs 30 and Amul butter is used in it.
More than 120 items are available
Deenbandhu says that there are more than 120 items in the restaurant and customers are constantly praising their taste. For the people coming here, there is a good opportunity to take photos along with eating, because the design of the coach is social media friendly. This restaurant runs under the supervision of Dhanbad Railway Division and is easy to find due to its location. Whoever goes towards the old market, railway station or platform number eight, definitely sees this coach restaurant.
