This training is given by Hazaribagh Archery Association, which is actively working to promote the sport in the district. Association Secretary Manoj Kumar said that the training given here is not limited to sports only, but it also opens the way for the children to become players, coaches and many government recruitments.

On the basis of medals and achievements obtained in Archery, special concessions are available in many government jobs. Besides, players also get a chance to continue playing the game along with a job in the teams of big companies of the country. Secretary Manoj Kumar further said that if any child of Hazaribagh wants to make a career in archery, then first of all he will have to register in the association. The enrollment fee has been kept at Rs 2000, while the training fee is Rs 700 per month. Regular training is given every month so that the children can learn the nuances of the game.

He also said that at the time of enrolment, the physical and mental fitness of the children is also tested to ensure that they are suitable for archery. The special thing is that the children who perform better here are sent to big training camps of the state, where they get a chance to move ahead by taking advanced level coaching.
