Motihari News: The health department in Motihari district of Bihar is once again under question. A patient who came to a PHC for treatment of chest pain and cough was given vaccination against rabies i.e. dog bite by the doctor. As soon as the patient showed his prescription to the people in the village, the matter spread like wildfire.

The doctor gave a dog bite needle to a patient who went to Motihari Hospital for treatment of chest pain and cough. When the patient showed the part to the villagers due to lack of relief from cough, the ground slipped under his feet. The patient is afraid of some untoward incident due to the needle being bitten by the dog. The matter is said to be of Sangrampur PHC and Purja is being trolled a lot on social media. As many mouths as there are so many things. Here Sangrampur PHC in-charge has called it a part of a conspiracy by some hospital worker. At the same time, even seeing the said patient is being refused. But the name of the attending doctor is written on the part as Dr. Pankaj Kumar.
Case of negligence of Sangrampur PHC
Due to the actions of Sangrampur PHC in Motihari district, the ground has slipped under the feet of the patient who came for treatment. According to the viral post on social media, Ramkishun Ram had gone to Sangrampur PHC for treatment of chest pain and cough. The part was cut in the hospital at 11.04 minutes. The name of Dr. Pankaj Kumar is engraved on the part. Chest pain and cough are written in the patient’s complaint on the part. Dog bite is written in the provisional diagnosis. According to Purja, the first dose of rabies vaccine was given to the patient on November 28. A call has also been made for the second dose.
Wrong vaccine given to patient in PHC of Motihari
Here, when the complaint of cough and chest pain did not get cured, the patient showed the parts to some people of the village. The patient got scared after seeing the needle of dog bite on the part. Patient Ramkishun said that we only had cough and chest pain. We did not say anywhere in the hospital that the dog had bitten. On the other hand, based on the pamphlet going viral, the PHC in-charge has now called it a conspiracy by the hospital staff and has also refused to see the patient again. But, the name clearly written on the prescription – Dr. Pankaj Kumar is raising questions on this claim.
Health department said- the matter will be investigated
According to the patient, he had not mentioned about dog bite in the hospital, he had only talked about cough and chest pain. After the matter got serious, the district health department has come into action. The health department has been embarrassed by this act of Sangrampur PHC in-charge Dr. Pankaj Kumar. Meanwhile, District Additional Medical Officer of the District Health Department, S N Satyarthi said that how the parts were cut in the hospital and which patient was given dog bite needle for cough and chest pain, for this the department has formed a 4-member team which will investigate and
