Varanasi: With the beginning of the month of December, cold has started showing its havoc. In the last 24 hours, the minimum temperature of UP has dropped to 5.2 degrees Celsius. Dense fog has also started appearing at many places in the state. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) estimates that there will be a slight drop in the temperature in different districts of the state in December. In such a situation, people will have to take the help of jackets and shawls to avoid this.
If we talk about the state capital Lucknow, a blanket of fog will be visible there in the morning. The Meteorological Department has predicted that today the minimum temperature in Lucknow will be around 12 and the maximum will be around 26 degrees Celsius. A slight decline will also be seen in the coming 2 to 3 days. Apart from this, moderate fog may also be seen in Noida from this morning. It is estimated that today the morning and evening of Noida will be a little colder than the last few days.
Cold and fog will increase gradually
BHU meteorologist Professor Manoj Kumar Srivastava said that a new western disturbance will affect the Western Himalayan region on December 5. Due to which the temperature in UP will fall further in the coming days. With the drop in temperature the cold will also increase here. Let us tell you that due to continuous snowfall in the mountains, there will be a gradual decline in the temperature of UP. Because now northwest winds have started blowing in UP.
