Pakistan News: Sri Lanka is currently facing the tragedy of cyclone. The Indian Army is providing them all possible help. Meanwhile, Pakistan requested India to provide help to Sri Lanka using Indian airspace. India allowed Pakistan’s plane to arrive within a few hours. Still, Pakistani media is unnecessarily spreading lies regarding this.
Even flying in the sky is now tied to politics, it is important to understand the difference between truth and rumour. On Monday, India termed as completely false and misleading the news spreading in Pakistan media, which claimed that India refused to allow Pakistan to come into airspace to provide help to the flood victims in Sri Lanka. Indian officials called it a new attempt to spread fake news.
Approval given within four hours
According to sources, at around 1 am on 1 December 2025, Pakistan requested India to allow its aircraft to pass through Indian airspace on the same day so that they could deliver humanitarian aid to the flood victims in Sri Lanka. India completed the process in a short time of just four hours and formally approved this request at 5.30 pm. Despite this, Pakistani media reported that India did not give permission, which delayed the arrival of help. India clarified that the decision was taken only for humanitarian reasons and there was no political ideology behind it.
Pakistan is creating confusion
Apart from this, India said that Pakistani media has been repeatedly creating confusion by spreading rumours, such as the recent wrong report about India’s participation in the Oxford Union. India reiterated that airspace management is completely professional, rules based and in line with global aviation standards. Any overflight or transit permission is scrutinized based on international procedures, operational rules and security assessment, not political pressure. This incident once again exposed the tradition of false news and fabricated claims spreading in Pakistani media. The Indian side clarified that there was no hindrance in providing aid and humanitarian aid was provided on time.
