Firefighters extinguished an early morning fire at BBC Scotland headquarters in Glasgow.
BBC Radio Scotland Breakfast was taken off the air, switched to pre-recorded music and Scotland’s breakfast television news bulletins were discontinued.
The Pacific Quay building, next to the River Clyde, was evacuated for two hours after a fire alarm was raised at around 6.30am. All personnel left safely.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) said an air conditioning unit had caught fire in a technical room on the fifth floor of the building at roof level.
Firefighters arrived just minutes after the alarm was raised with at least seven fire trucks on the scene.

It is understood the fire was discovered by a member of security staff who raised the alarm.
An orange glow of flames could be seen through the windows next to the illuminated BBC Scotland sign on the south side of the building.
BBC Radio Scotland returned to the air at around 08:30 as staff returned to the building.
A BBC Scotland spokesperson said: “The fire was contained and we are grateful to the emergency services for their quick response.
“All of our colleagues are safe and well, and our services are now back on the air. Thank you to our listeners and viewers for their patience while we restored their programs.”
