Himachal News: A shameful incident has occurred in Himachal Pradesh. In Bilaspur district, a minor player has accused the coach of molestation. The accused had taken the minor girl to watch a movie and during this time the accused molested the girl in the theatre. Police have registered the case.

According to the information, the minor player, resident of Mandi district, was taking cricket coaching along with her school studies. According to the complaint, on November 27, the coach had called the player to Bilaspur main market and the victim reached the spot. It is alleged that the coach took her to a theatre, where after the movie started, only the two of them were in the hall. Meanwhile, the coach tried to get closer to her by holding her hand, due to which the player got nervous and due to fear could not say anything at that time.
The next day, when the player returned to her PG, the operator inquired after seeing her nervousness and unusual behaviour. On repeated questioning, the minor burst into tears and narrated the entire incident. The PG operator immediately informed his parents and the family reached Bilaspur on Saturday. Hearing the incident, the player’s mother got angry and went to the accused coach and beat him up. After this the family directly reached Mahila Police Station Bilaspur and lodged a complaint against the accused.
On receiving the complaint, the police have registered a case against the accused coach under the POCSO Act. Additional Superintendent of Police Shiv Chaudhary confirmed verbally on mobile that the matter is being investigated and further legal action will be taken based on the evidence.
