Patna : Bihar School Examination Board has given a golden opportunity for engineers and professionals associated with IT and computer sector. The committee has announced recruitment for various posts, which include posts like Deputy Director (IT), Programmer, Assistant Programmer, Networking Administrator, Hardware Technician and Project Manager. Walk-in-interview for all these posts is scheduled to be held on 13 December 2025. Interested candidates will have to appear at the Board Headquarters, Sinha Library Road, Patna at 11 am.

Bihar School Examination Board has released the information. BSEB has announced recruitment for one post each of Deputy Director IT (OFSS) and Deputy Director (Uttar Pradesh). For both these posts, ME or M.Tech degree in Computer Science or IT from a recognized institute and minimum 6 years of experience in the related field is required. BSEB has announced recruitment for one post of Programmer (U.M.).
For this post, B.Tech or B.E. Degree in Computer Science and MCA or MSc in IT with 4 years of experience in government or private institutions has been sought. Similarly, for one post each of Assistant Programmer and Assistant Programmer (Miscellaneous), B.Tech or B.E. Degree in Computer Science and MCA or MSc in IT with 3 years of experience in government or private institutions has been sought.

Apart from this, Bihar School Examination Board has also announced vacancy for one post of Project Manager (ERP). For this post, BE or B.Tech in Computer Science or IT, Electronics Engineering, Electronics Communication, MCA and MBA with at least 10 years of experience is mandatory. Advanced diploma is also necessary to work on this post. Along with this, for the post of Networking Administrator, a BE, BCA, B.Tech with minimum 4 years of experience is required, while for the post of Hardware Technician, a minimum of 2 years of experience is required with BE, B.Tech, BCA.

It has been told by BSEB that an honorarium of Rs 1 lakh 5 thousand per month and vehicle facility will be given to the Deputy Director IT (OFSS). An honorarium of Rs 75 thousand per month will be given for Programmer (U.M.), Programmer (DMS) and Networking Administration. An honorarium of Rs 70 thousand per month will be given for Assistant Programmer, Assistant Programmer (Miscellaneous) and Hardware Technician. Whereas the Project Manager (ERP) will be given an honorarium of Rs 65 thousand per month.
These things have to be kept in mind
It has been told by BSEB that the candidates willing to apply for these posts will have to bring their bio data, copy of the application form, original copy of educational documents and self-attested photocopies of all the documents as per the stipulated time. Employment on all these posts will be done on contract basis and the maximum age limit has been fixed at 60 years. After this age they will be automatically retired.
Bihar Board has advised the candidates to reach the interview venue on the scheduled date with all necessary educational certificates, experience certificates and identity cards.
