Jaunpur: Every year about 400 people lose their lives in road accidents in Jaunpur, UP, due to which the Jaunpur Police has now come up with a new plan to stop the accidents. To reduce accidents by 50%, CC teams have been formed in 15 police stations, in which four constables including a sub-inspector will be deployed 24 hours and their job will be to make people aware of traffic rules. The cause of the accident will have to be found and the accidents will have to be analyzed.

Some critical corridors have been identified in the district, where accidental deaths are increasing and where there is a need to work on accidents.

There are some black spots in Jaunpur where Yamraj stands and people often become victims of accidents here. There are critical corridors at 15 such critical police stations in the district and each critical police station has a critical corridor team or CT team consisting of one sub-inspector and four constables. This team has been given a vehicle and equipment has been given to the team.
