When the brother-in-law came to know about this, he somehow called the sister-in-law to meet him near the police station. Suddenly the girl’s two sisters also reached the police station gate and beat her fiercely.
Patna: An incident of fighting between women came to light in Patna, the capital of Bihar, on Thursday evening. The sudden slapping at the Danapur police station gate surprised everyone. But the story is even more interesting than that! Reena Kumari, a resident of Sampatchak, works in the control room of the Municipal Corporation. Reena’s heart fell on Ravi Kumar, a Municipal Corporation employee living in Gandhi Maidan, and both of them took their love affair forward and got married with great pomp on 14 November. But the girl’s sisters had objections to this marriage.
The sisters made a plan to teach their sister a lesson. And then brother-in-law Ramji Ram enters the story. Ramji called sister-in-law Reena to Danapur police station very innocently, as if someone was calling home. Poor Reena thought that perhaps he had come to talk, but as soon as she reached the gate, an atmosphere like a film dialogue was created from behind. Reena’s sisters started dragging her by her hair at the gate itself, rain of slaps, storm of kicks and punches… the entire Danapur police station gate became a battlefield. People walking on the road stopped to watch the show.
Complaint lodged with police
Then the policemen jumped on the spot and somehow separated the sisters. Reena immediately gave a written complaint to the police station. She told that she had been taking care of her sister’s children for a long time and also helped in household expenses, but as soon as she got married on her own free will, her sisters’ blood pressure became high.
