Pooja Rani, a junior assistant posted in the Land Conservation Office, was given the responsibility of 946 voters. He went door-to-door, distributed the forms, got them filled and then uploaded the data on the app. Despite the slow speed of the app and technical problems, Pooja Rani completed 100% work by feeding data of 746 voters in a week.
Ghaziabad: The district administration has honored the BLO who completed 100% work before time during the voter list revision campaign in Ghaziabad. A total of 3089 BLOs are deployed in the city, out of which today District Magistrate Ravindra Kumar Mandar gave incentive awards to 9 BLOs and 1 supervisor who did excellent work. These officers won the praise of the administration by going door-to-door to get the forms filled, uploading the data and completing the work on time despite technical difficulties. The district administration honored his excellent performance by giving him a reward of ₹ 10,000 and the facility to stay in a five star hotel along with his family.

100% work completed in just 10 days
Shalini Aggarwal, a government school teacher, was given the responsibility of 622 voters in Pratap Vihar. Despite challenges like delay in form submission by some people, Shalini completed her entire work 100% in 10 days. Appreciating his work, the district administration has given him a reward of ₹ 5000 and the facility to stay for two days in a five star hotel along with his family. Shalini told that it was difficult to give time to the family while working as a BLO, but the support of family members made the work easier.
Prize of Rs 5000 and two days in a 5 star hotel
Pratiksha Aggarwal, an assistant teacher in a government school, was given the responsibility of 760 voters at booth number 160. Many times people had to face problems like not submitting the forms and repeatedly going to their homes to explain. He worked hard and uploaded the data of all the voters completely. Pratiksha says that SIR is very important, because names of the dead and duplicate votes are still found in many places. For his excellent work, the District Officer gave him a prize of ₹ 5000 and arranged for two days’ stay in a five star hotel with his family.
8 BLOs of Ghaziabad did 100% work
Ghaziabad District Magistrate Ravindra Kumar Mandar said that out of the BLOs who have completed their SIR work 100 percent, 8 BLOs are from Ghaziabad Sadar Assembly only. All the BLOs who have done excellent work have been honored by the administration, in which Matrashakti especially performed well by being at the forefront. He has been given a reward of ₹ 5000 and along with this, arrangements for stay and food in a five star hotel have also been made. The District Magistrate said that now these excellent BLOs, along with other BLOs, will help in completing their work as soon as possible so that the campaign can be completed on time.
Due to the honor received by BLO, there is an atmosphere of enthusiasm and inspiration among other employees also. The administration believes that such efforts play an important role in making the voting process more transparent and accurate.
