New Delhi. Due to fog, East Central Railway has canceled many trains and reduced the frequency of many trains. Some have been partially cancelled. Railways has taken this decision keeping in mind the convenience of the passengers. These trains will be affected from 1st December (Monday) to 28th February 2026. This includes trains from many states including Bihar, UP, Uttarakhand and Delhi.
According to Saraswati Chandra, Public Relations Officer of East Central Railway, Hajipur, safety of passengers is the priority of the Railways. Since visibility reduces in fog, due to this the speed of trains reduces. Trains cannot be run in large numbers. For this reason Railways has taken this decision. Railways has requested the passengers to check the train status before travelling, so that there is no inconvenience at the last moment.
