A seemingly innocuous property listing in the town of Ipswich in Suffolk, England suddenly took the internet by storm when pictures of the house showed a large pig sleeping restlessly on the ground. This unique incident came to light in 2014, when this house came on the market with an asking price of £120,000 (Rs 1.4 crore) and eventually sold for £100,000 (Rs 1.1 crore). There were many pictures in the online listing of the house, but one of them stood out, in which a pig weighing about 30 stone (about 190 kg) was seen napping comfortably on the floor. Not only this, in another picture a cat was also seen sitting on the oven of the house. However, there was no mention of this pig anywhere in the listing.

Photo went viral on social media
As soon as the picture reached social media, it went viral. Users jokingly wrote: “Buy a house in Ipswich and get a free pig!” It was later revealed that it was no ordinary pig, but the locally famous ‘Pog the Pig’, who was known in the neighborhood for his mischievous nature and wandering habits.
