Here the owner Deepshikha Sharma, who had reached the flat to demand the outstanding rent of the last 6 months from her tenants, was murdered by her own tenant Ajay Gupta and his wife Aakriti Gupta. Ajay and Aakriti first beat Deepshikha Sharma with a cooker and then strangulated her to death with a dupatta. After this, the dead body was cut, filled in a small suitcase and hidden in the bed box.

December 17: Deepshikha had gone to the flat to ask for rent.
Deepshikha lives with her husband Umesh Sharma in Sihani Gate area. About 1 kilometer away from here is Chimera Society, in which Deepshikha has a flat, number 506. This flat was given on rent by Deepshikha. Ajay Gupta and his wife were living there since July 2025, but they did not deposit the rent for 6 months. On December 17, Deepshikha had gone to collect the rent in the evening.
Did not reach home till 11.20 pm
Deepshikha did not reach her home after collecting the fare till 11.20 pm. When Deepshikha did not return, the family started getting worried and started searching. The family members and maid Mini reached Chimera Society in search of Deepshikha and took information about Deepshikha from the people of the building. When nothing was found from anywhere, the CCTV footage installed in the guard room was checked. In the CCTV footage of the society, the woman was seen going into Ajay Gupta’s flat, but not coming out.
Husband and wife caught by maid’s trick
It is being told that the accused husband and wife were going to dump the woman’s body after keeping it in a bag. He had also called an auto, but due to the wisdom of the maid, he did not get a chance to escape. Because Maid Mini reached him and told him to go back to his house until his mistress was found. The accused had told Mini that they were going for shopping. When Mini insisted, both the husband and wife reached upstairs with the bags. After this Mini had closed the door from outside.

After which Deepshikha’s family got suspicious and they went straight to their flat. Knocked the door for a long time, but they did not open the door. Hearing the noise, neighbors also reached the spot and knocked on the door of the flat. Seeing the crowd, Ajay and his wife started running away, but were caught and the police were informed. According to the police, the tenants went crazy after seeing Deepshikha. They called him inside and attacked him with a cooker, later strangulated him to death with a scarf. The accused got scared after the murder. They cut the body with a sharp weapon, packed it into small pieces in a suitcase and hid it in the bed box.
