But sometimes this intoxication becomes very heavy. One such hobby seems to be taking a heavy toll on the Bihar Police personnel. The latest case has come to light from Vaishali district of Bihar. Where by making a reel while on duty, a policeman not only violated the departmental orders but also brought the image of the police into question. His caste based reel is giving rise to many questions after going viral.
Questions are being raised on the working style of the police?
According to the information, constable Manish Kumar posted at Sarai police station prepared a reel video while using a government vehicle during night duty. It is being told that caste based songs have been used in this reel. Manish posted this on his Instagram account. After which the video rapidly went viral. After the reel went viral, questions have started being raised on the working style of the police on social media. People say that when common citizens have to face strict restrictions on social media, then how can the policemen themselves behave in such an indisciplined manner.
In fact, a few months ago, an order was issued by the top officials of Bihar Police that no policeman will use social media while on duty. The purpose of this instruction was to maintain police discipline and protect the public image. But now the department is also shocked to see the same order being disobeyed in the DGP’s home district.
What will be the action?
At present this incident remains a topic of discussion in both social media and police circles. This case once again brings alive the question whether guards in uniform should maintain distance from social media entertainment or not.
