CM Kejriwal said that in the month of April, the highest number of cases recorded during the peak were 28,000. But now after the opinion of experts, it can be 37,000 during the peak. For this we are working to strengthen Delhi’s hospitals and our health system. A complete strategy has been prepared for this.
He told that it is not that if more than 37,000 cases come, then we are not ready for that. For that too, the government is working thinking ahead. He also told that a task force has been formed especially for children, which will decide how many beds, oxygen beds, ICU and medicines etc. will be required for children in these health resources. Work will be done on all these. And the task force will soon have to submit its report on this to the government as well.
It has been decided to do all these preparations yesterday after discussion in two separate meetings that lasted for 6 hours. Further preparations will be made only on the basis of the opinion of the experts.
