Giving information, the Minister said that due to the pandemic, taking appropriate steps, Air India has taken several decisions, in which such employees who have been infected with Kovid-19 will be given 17 days Quarantine Leave (Paid Leave), Permanent / Fixed Term Contract. On the death of the employee from Kovid, his family was given compensation of 10 lakhs and 5 lakhs.
90 thousand and two months salary is given to the family of contractual employees and casual employees. Along with this, the company opened Kovid centers at various places for the care of the affected employees and family. The minister said that if the employee or his family has paid for the vaccine, then it is also being paid.
