Power cut in Darbhanga: There will be power disruption in many areas of Darbhanga on 28th November i.e. tomorrow. Electricity Department official Preeti Kumari said that conductor stringing work will be done for the construction of the new feeder. Due to which, from the safety point of view, the line of 11kV Donar feeder and 11kV Ramjanaki feeder coming from 33/11kv electric power substation Urban will remain disrupted.

The department has announced to stop power supply in many areas of the city on Friday 28 November 2025 due to maintenance work. This cut will be made from 11 am to 2 pm. Electricity department officer Preeti Kumari said that conductor stringing work is to be done under the construction of the new feeder. Keeping security in mind, the lines of 11 KV Donar feeder and 11 KV Ramjanaki feeder coming out of 33/11 KV electric power substation Urban will be kept closed.
In which areas will electricity be disrupted?
Bhatiarisarai, Donar, Allapatti, Misratola, Dighi, Khan Chowk, Maulaganj, Purani Munsafi, Faizullah Khan, Urdu Bazaar, Bheego Chowk, Jamalpura, and other nearby areas will be affected. The Electricity Department has appealed to the citizens to complete the important electricity related work well in time, so that there is no problem during the cut. The department says that this work is very important and this maintenance is being done for better electricity service in future.
