New Delhi. India’s best-selling sub-4 meter SUV – Maruti Brezza – is soon to get a major midlife update. However, its official launch date and details have not been revealed yet, but it is expected that the updated model may be launched in the first half of 2026. In the subcompact SUV segment, the new 2026 Maruti Brezza facelift will compete with Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Nissan Magnite and Renault Kiger. Here are the top 4 upgrades expected for the 2026 Maruti Brezza facelift.
Level 2 ADAS
According to reports, the new Maruti Brezza 2026 may get Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driving Assistance System) safety suite, as most of its rivals are already offering this feature. This system may include features like adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, forward collision warning, autonomous emergency braking (AEB), blind spot monitoring and rear cross traffic alert.
Upgraded infotainment and features
The layout of the cabin will remain almost the same, but many new features will increase its value. The facelifted model may get a larger 10.1 or 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system in place of the current 9-inch unit. Apart from this, features like new digital instrument cluster, ventilated front seats and premium audio system can also be seen in it.
Minor design changes
Mild cosmetic changes may be seen in the design. The new 2026 Maruti Brezza facelift may get a slightly updated front grille, revised bumpers, new 16-inch swirl-pattern alloy wheels and revised LED DRLs. How much change will actually be seen in terms of design will be known only at the time of launch, but it is believed that the new Brezza will come with a better updated look than before.
Underbody CNG tank and more boot space
The new Maruti Brezza 2026 will get a major mechanical upgrade of the underbody CNG tank like the Victoris. In this setup, the CNG cylinder will be removed from the boot space and fitted under the vehicle, which will increase the cargo space. In such a situation, the updated Brezza CNG will get more boot space than the existing CNG variant. With the existing K15C petrol engine, 5-speed manual and 6-speed automatic gearbox options will be available as before.
