Announced last year to enter India
Let us know that the American electric car company knocked in India in January, when it had registered a company in India. Last month, Tesla registered the company in Bengaluru under the name of its subsidiary company Tesla India Motors and Energy Private Limited. Tesla’s founder and CEO Elon Musk said on Twitter last year that the company plans to enter India by 2021. Tesla is preparing to enter India with its Model 3 sedan car. The price of this electric car is expected to be around 60 lakh rupees.

Nitin Gadkari gave information about Tesla’s entry
Tesla’s arrival in India was first reported by Union Road and Transport Aid Minister Nitin Gadkari. In December, Gadkari had said that Tesla would start its operations in India early next year. He had said that India has the potential to become the world’s largest electric vehicle producer in the next five years. Tesla is entering India at a time when central and state governments are trying to reduce air pollution.

Rajasthan government also offered
Tesla’s business in India will start from Karnataka, but earlier Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot also offered to Tesla company to set up a Tesla plant in Bhiwadi. Currently, Tesla has registered office in Bangalore, but this does not mean that Tesla will no longer do business in Rajasthan. After the first office, Tesla can open its offices in other cities of India.
