The car that comes with a 30.2 kWh lithium-ion battery pack can be run up to 312 km on a single charge. Apart from this, a lot of safety features and facilities are also available in the car. The car gets a warranty of 3 years or 1.25 lakh kms. The EV’s battery and electric motor get a warranty of 8 years or 1.60 lakh kms.

The Government of India is giving a subsidy of up to Rs 3 lakh on buying an electric car. Apart from this, you can save more about Rs 1.5 lakh in the form of tax. The company claims that the running cost of the Nexon EV is Rs 1.6 per kilometer and the company is offering a warranty of 1,60,00 km on the battery. So according to this, it will cost around 2.52 thousand rupees to run 1.60 lakh km. On the other hand, the running cost of the petrol model of the Nexon is around Rs.7 per km. Assuming the price of petrol is Rs 96 per litre, then running 1.60 km will cost Rs 11.20 lakh. Accordingly, about Rs 8.7 lakh will be saved from the electric car.
