Many families have left the colony and gone elsewhere due to fear, while some parents are afraid of sending their children to school. Children of the gas affected area study in the primary school, Kenduadih Basti. A total of 124 children are enrolled in this school. After the gas leak, the administration has ordered the children to be taught in Kenduadih School One.
