Hamirpur Delhi HRTC New Bus: New Volvo bus service started from Hamirpur in Himachal Pradesh to Delhi, inaugurated by CM Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu. Himachal Road Transport Corporation provided National Common Mobility Card facility. Online payment for bus tickets can also be made. This bus will run from near CM Sukhu’s house.
HamirpurA new bus service has been started from Hamirpur district of Himachal Pradesh to Delhi, Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu also inaugurated HRTC’s Nadaun-Hamirpur-Ghumarwin-Delhi Volvo bus service after the anti-chitta mega walkathon in Hamirpur on Tuesday,
According to the information, this bus will start daily from Nadaun at 7 am and then after halt at Hamirpur, it will leave for Delhi at 8 am, from Ghumarwin at 9 am and from Chandigarh at 11.40 am. Then it will reach Delhi at 4.40 pm. This bus will reach Delhi after a journey of 10 hours. This journey will be around 410 km. At the same time, the bus will depart from Delhi for Chandigarh, Hamirpur and Nadaun at 8.30 am the next morning and the bus will reach Nadaun at 6.30 pm. The fare from Nadaun to Delhi will be Rs 1341.
CM Sukhu said that payment for bus tickets can be done through UPI, debit card and credit card. CM said that Himachal Road Transport Corporation has become the first state transport undertaking in the country to start the National Common Mobility Card facility. With this card, one can travel across the country including Delhi Metro, Delhi Transport Corporation, Haryana Roadways and West Mumbai buses and facilities like Him Bus Card, Him Bus Plus Card and Green Card have also been provided for concessional and free travel.
Increase in number of buses
CM said that 297 new electric buses are being included in the fleet of the Transport Corporation. With the inclusion of 25 state of the art Volvo buses in the transport fleet, the number of Volvo buses in the corporation has increased to 98. He said that 50 tempo traveler and 24 super luxury buses have also been purchased. The procurement process of 250 diesel buses, 100 mini buses and four cranes is in progress. 234 new bus routes are being issued and the process of allotting 350 new permits for operation of tempo traveler vehicles up to 18 seaters is underway.
CM Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu said that to encourage green transportation, 88 petrol pumps are being developed on 6 green corridors and electric vehicle charging stations are being developed at 41 sites. Apart from this, 310 charging state stations are being installed at various places including rest houses and government offices in the state. He said that charging stations are also being set up at 41 other places on the basis of public and private partnership.
